This
nature-inspired workshop introduces participants to an innovative
technique for making hollow beads which can be
adapted to other styles and looks.
These
beads show no seam. Big and flash, they're just the thing for those
oversized necklaces where more is more, yet
they're feather-light, a dream to wear.
This workshop
focuses on providing participants the required skills and techniques to
create hollow beads. Its objective is not to complete a given project.
Participants will be shown:

how to make a bead with symmetrical thread holes;

how to make a bead with asymmetrical thread holes;
-
various methods for lining and finishing the thread holes;
-
suggestions for spacer beads.
